What is it?
ByteTrend is a trend-following tool built to identify the leading trends in financial markets. Screen hundreds of crypto tokens, companies, currencies, bonds and commodities on a single platform. The aim is not to identify the market tops or bottoms, but the leading and lagging trends.
- Multi Basis Views.
- View ETF data in US Dollars, relative to the USA and WORLD indicators, or relative to ByteTree's BOLD index. View Crypto assets priced in, and relative to Bitcoin, Ethereum and ByteTree's Crypto Average indicator (BCA).
- Updated Daily.
- ETF data is updated after the markets close, 5 days a week, Tuesday to Saturday. Crypto data is updated seven days a week.

Trend Following
How Does it Work?
Combining technical indicators widely used by market professionals, ByteTrend calculates a score from 0 to 5 stars. Strong bullish trends are scored 5 stars, while strong bearish trends are scored 0 stars. Everything in between is neutral but tells you if a trend is moving towards leading or lagging.
Technical Indicators
ByteTrend scores a star if:
- The price is above the long-term moving average
- The price is above the short-term moving average
- The long-term moving average is rising
- The short-term moving average is rising
- The price last touched max on the max/min lines
